The Tom Purdy Croquet tournament came about to honor and remember our brother Tom Purdy. On June 28, 2013 our nephew John Dotson and his wife Barb held a 70th birthday party for me. John organized a croquet tournament with two courts for a fun activity at his house that our brother Tom won at the age of 80. Tom died unexpectedly and suddenly the next April, 2014. I (Ken Purdy) decided to organize the Tom Purdy Croquet Tournament in his memory since we had so much fun playing the game at my birthday that he won. This web site contains photos and results of the annual tournament, rules, and information.

Tom Purdy Croquet Tournament History
Always the Saturday the full week before Labor Day. This year 8/24/2024.
This is the 10th Year Anniversary and Bryan Purdy, Tom’s son, designed and 3D printed a special trophy for this year. You may want to come down and practice a few weekends in advance. I know I’m going to practice to try to when this keepsake trophy.
